Honesty is the best policy.
It makes people accept you for who you are.
They may not like what you say,
What you do, or who you are,
But at least it is the truth.
Also, if in the future people change their minds;
Then they have learned to accept you for what is real.
When people know you and accept you for who you are;
Then there is trust.
People prefer the truth
Because it keeps the possibility
For trouble and bad tension out of sight.
If one person could learn to be honest,
No matter what the topic, situation, or place,
Then a lot of people will benefit from it.
