Hiding a secret… becomes complicating.
You have to tell the lies.
And you must remember every word,
Or else they’ll see through your disguise.
Shame is something you fear to know,
Yet it’s waiting for an exit.
The best way to lock them away
Is to simply never forget it.
For when you think it is alright,
You forget the cover story.
And that is when, by the skeletons in the closet,
You will be destroyed.
