May God enhance your generosity
And help you grow in faith.
Bless you for your prayers and hugs,
And giving us a way.

He's like the lightning in the sky each time I feel it near. The beauty of its pretty color sinks beneath my fear.
May God enhance your generosity
And help you grow in faith.
Bless you for your prayers and hugs,
And giving us a way.

Love is so hard to teach, to reach, to preach!
Sin is so easy to do.
His words must know, show, grow.
The distractions are always new.
His prayers must always share, care, bear.
Satan could care less!
His life must exemplify, gratify, and glorify.
Satan can make it a mess.
Mercy can live, give, and forgive.
Hearts can be hard.
Jesus wants to see, free, to be.
Souls can be quick to guard.
The preacher tries, cries, and sighs.
The Spirit wins after all.
God amazes, raises, and praises.
The preacher helped stop a fall.

(by the grace of God)
Moanings and groanings,
I hear all around me.
The flock is restless.
Their sighs have found me.
The unknown day
of opening the door
seems so far away
when we’ve found no shore.
Our lingering spirits
threaten to doubt
all that God has promised
to bring us out.
As our prayers are lifted,
a calming arrives.
His Faithful Spirit
lovingly revives.
The flock is comforted
and finds sweet rest
knowing that God provided
this floating nest.
