So Refreshing… A True Gift From God

From the moment I first spoke with you God was present.

He was a part of our encounter.

I called for prayer and praise,

And you were with ready with honor and servancy

For the Lord we share as God.

Jesus allowed His love to flow through two Christian souls,

And brought us together for a moment of holiness.

Praise God!!

It turns out you are single as well.

Being I came out of a bad relationship just recently,

It is so refreshing… a true gift from God!

All I really needed to know

Was that there really is someone like you out there.

Whether we ever date or not really doesn’t matter.

Just to have talked with you one night,

And know that God does have men like you

Made me realize I can’t give up on God like that.

I was so broken… my faith damaged.

I just couldn’t believe that God has someone for  me.

That maybe my expectations were too high.

Even if you’re not the one,

I know my expectations (wanting to wait until marriage)

Are exactly where God wants them to be…

As high as He is!!

Praise God for your Holy being!

God Made Man… And Then a Godly Man

God made man and then He made a Godly man.

What a gift for woman.

This man gave every breath in praise to the Father.

This man bowed on his knees to worship his Savior.

This man claimed Jesus as the son of God.

This man sacrificed his life to serve to witnessing to others.

So that they may share in the love of his Savior.

Here was a man who loved his fellow man so much that

He did not want him to burn hell,

He even knelt in prayer for his enemies to ask his God

To please save them and lead them to love.

This man spent so much of his time indulging in the music of his Lord,

He was music to the heart himself.

It was hard for him not know every word to almost every song.

He was just as enthusiastic about his sword… his Bible…

The word of his Lord.

Compassion rang out from his lips, as mercy fell from his heart.

And as he met the searching halfway

He allowed his God to use him in leading the sheep home…

Out of the storm… just before the rapture.

God made man… the one we have all met

And fought with to save our souls.

And then he made a Godly man… the one we pray to meet

That he might tell us of how Jesus already died for us to save our souls.

And he tells us the man who lives to fight us

Will either be defeated or cleansed

So that God’s plan might be completed even in him.

Thank God for the Godly man

Who was created and lives in the image of God.

It Is His Gift

To lay one’s head down
and in sweet peace sleep,
not worrying about tomorrow,
for one knows God will keep.
To awaken refreshed in peace again,
as the head begins to lift.
A moment like this only God provides.
It is His gift.

To face a scary moment in faith
and trust the ailing body to strangers.
When life and health are threatened,
and the soul even seems in danger.
To awaken refreshed in health again,
as the healing begins to lift.
The Great Physician restores.
It is His gift.

To hear the sound of little voices
praising God with His own hymns.
To be able to experience the joy
that surely God finds in them.
To take in such beauty
as the voices together lift.
Only God can perfect such praise.
It is His gift.

This Man of God

Faith flows through him.
Praises pour out.
He overflows with cheerfulness.
He prays without doubt.
A prayer warrior,
not quite like many.
He will find hope
where there is not any.
His lips overflow with song.
His heart shouts their words.
Even when he is silent,
his godly spirit can be heard.
This man of God
that God placed in my life.
Shines so bright
you’d never know his strife.
What a lesson and a blessing
he is to me.
What an example
he teaches me to be.
