In The Arms of God

Here is where I’d rather be
Than any place in the whole wide world.
Just look at those children playing.
They’re so happy.
They have no worries in the world,
And they never will.
Our Father will see to that.
See the rainbow above that beautiful set of clouds
So puffy and white?
That’s His promise He has always kept.
He came back after us,
And brought us to our mansions.
Why would I lose faith in Him now?
From the moment He took my small hand
Into His big, warm, and gentle hand,
And led me down streets of gold,
To my long missed family and friends,
I’ve cried so many tears of joy.
Many said we’d never shed another tear,
But maybe they forgot how wonderful He can be.
After all, tears are beautiful too.
When my mom and dad held me again,
And I got to love my granddad
Without the fear of losing him,
Or forgetting his face,
My heart just melted.
And oh, the most beautiful moment of that day
Was when I met my brother
I had never met before…
My Lord and Savior Jesus Christ!
Here is where I’d rather be
Than any place in the whole wide world…
In the arms of God.

Teach My Son

The world is so loving.
We have so many dreams.
We’re all going to make it to heaven someday.
God is a caring man.
God gave His Son for us.
We can be forgiven.
We must have faith.
We must love one another.
And we must never leave
God out of our lives.
And we must give the children
Our love and support.

Inspiration: TW asked me to write about what I want to teach my son.
God is so good to be our voice and our pen.
God s my hero!

A Land of Rest

A land of rest…
is there such a place?
That would certainly be filled
with God’s mercy and grace!
To have no worries
and just enjoy the land
would have to be sheltered
by God’s own hand.
Could you imagine
living in such a land?
While I could easily long for it,
I don’t know if I can.
I would be so afraid
of everything that could go wrong.
I would surely waste
enjoying God all day long.
But thank God for heaven
and God being in control,
for I know I’ll have that land of rest
and enjoy it with my very soul!

If Someone Dies

If someone dies and their soul is taken by the evil world,
can that person come to their family and friends,
who are religious, in a good dream or way?
I mean their soul is evil or bad, because they must go to hell,
does this mean that the only way you can see them is through evilness?
Will this loved one or friend be used against
their religious family and friends to bring them to hell?
Will Satan try to use them to get his way with their souls?
I just wonder because of Dean.
I’m not saying he went to hell.
I’m scared because I don’t know.
It could be either way.
How do we know?
We’re not God.
We just have to have faith in God
and make sure we want heaven,
no matter where he went to.

Inspiration: Our family was discussed this topic upon Dean’s death because we had been taught anyone committing suicide goes to hell. I was confused myself then. In the last 27 of growing in the Lord and His word since, the Lord instructs me that we are not God and do not know if someone asks God to forgive them just before they commit suicide, or at anytime in the process. If I am unable to guarantee 100% that someone made it to heaven (which I cannot do since I am not God) then I cannot rule 100% that they did not.
Regardless of where a person lives in eternity, God’s word tells us not to have anything to do with familiar spirits, so I do not believe God uses or allows spirits to return to haunt us.

10 Things That I’m Thankful For

  2. That Jesus died for all.
  3. That Jesus is alive.
  4. That we can be forgiven.
  5. That God gave us love.
  6. That God gave us family & friends.
  7. That God gave us life.
  8. That God gave us Thanksgiving.
  9. That God brought the soldiers home.

Resting In Your Palms

Heaven and the heavenly host,
Father, Son, and the Holy Ghost,
and all the angels of God,
family, friends, and those forgotten.
All these wait for us to arrive,
waiting for our bodies to revive,
waiting to welcome us home,
never to be left again to roam,
waiting to rejoice and sing together,
praising our Lord Jesus forever.
What joys will we behold
that has not yet been told?
I long for the reunion and greeting,
especially when I ponder all that I’ll be meeting.
Thank You, Jesus, for hope in the Psalms.
Thank You for protection resting in your palms.
