In The Arms of God

Here is where I’d rather be
Than any place in the whole wide world.
Just look at those children playing.
They’re so happy.
They have no worries in the world,
And they never will.
Our Father will see to that.
See the rainbow above that beautiful set of clouds
So puffy and white?
That’s His promise He has always kept.
He came back after us,
And brought us to our mansions.
Why would I lose faith in Him now?
From the moment He took my small hand
Into His big, warm, and gentle hand,
And led me down streets of gold,
To my long missed family and friends,
I’ve cried so many tears of joy.
Many said we’d never shed another tear,
But maybe they forgot how wonderful He can be.
After all, tears are beautiful too.
When my mom and dad held me again,
And I got to love my granddad
Without the fear of losing him,
Or forgetting his face,
My heart just melted.
And oh, the most beautiful moment of that day
Was when I met my brother
I had never met before…
My Lord and Savior Jesus Christ!
Here is where I’d rather be
Than any place in the whole wide world…
In the arms of God.

Keeping My Loved Ones

Keeping my loved ones,
You care for me through others.
You keep them safe
Till we can see one another.
You keep them happy,
Making sure they’re loved.
I long for when we all
Worship you in heaven above.
Take care if them
As I know You faithfully will.
Let my soul and heart
Be spirit filled.

GRACE

It’s dinner time, set the table
And don’t forget my place.
Let’s all join hands and bow our heads,
We need to say our grace.
“Thank You, Father, for this food
Set before our eyes.
Know that we are thinking of
The child who sits and cries.
We ask that You may feed his need,
And help him grow in time
To a healthy and happy child
With sharing on his mind.
For all the hungry without a meal,
We ask that they be fed.
Praise You again for our dinner, Lord,
Our daily given bread.

Christmas Joy

Oh ho ho the joy they have
To celebrate today.
Christmas is the season now,
And they are out to play.
They laugh, they scream.
They jump a lot. Hard to keep control.
It has to be the joy from heart.
For they are happy souls.

Within The Age Cage

Young and happy,

enjoying life.

Not a trace

of any strife!

Isn’t this

what we miss

as we age

within the cage?

Trapped inside

trying to hide,

we actually dare

to share.

Does this make sense

to my friends?

It should.

They would.
