He's like the lightning in the sky each time I feel it near. The beauty of its pretty color sinks beneath my fear.
Praying for friends…
such a much needed task!
Yet what a joy
and a privilege to ask
God to protect and provide
for dear friends,
knowing God’s blessings
never come to an end!
Praise to a Savior,
a King in charge.
Nothing is too little,
nothing too large.
God is beautiful
to provide such souls,
then comforts with prayers,
knowing He is in control.

Another day in the ark,
and all the critters are stirring.
Every creature in here
wonders what is occurring.
Trapped inside
and distracted by life,
we are overwhelmed
by our strife.
Sometimes we see the windows.
Sometimes we see the sky.
Sometimes we spread our wings
and dream that we can fly.
Sometimes we even notice
the door across the room,
but then the lock and barricade
bring back the gloom.
Watching and waiting
for the Captain to unlock,
we continue to dream
of the day we dock.
