He's like the lightning in the sky each time I feel it near. The beauty of its pretty color sinks beneath my fear.
Lord, please forgive me…
For selfishly asking for my life…
When it is Yours…
Given to the One who gave His to me.
Please forgive me…
For trying to usurp Your authority
When I plead to have my life ended
Before You have accomplished with it
What You want from it.
Even if it is only to be obedient.
Help me to do whatever it is You ask..
Whether to be strong
Or to have the strength to be weak.

God, we’re gonna do it.
We’re gonna fight this sin.
And with You on my side,

The enemy may attack
And I may retreat,
But with You as my Shield,
We will defeat.
Obstacles and doubts
May try to deceive us,
But the power of the blood
Will relieve us.
Fear and lack of faith
May try to discourage,
But Your grace and mercy
Will renew my courage.
Years may pass
As time may be the test,
But throughout eternity
In You I find rest.

But You were there to see me to serenity.

Only You can hold on to me
And give me courage to be strong,
The concern You gave to me

Oh the feeling of security

On a late Friday night,
we walked into the park.
he stayed so very close to me.
She was afraid of the dark.
Another time we double dated,
she was out with Marc.
He wanted to take her to the swings,
but she was afraid of the dark.
There were many other times
we came upon the park,
but we would always go around
cause she was afraid of the dark.
Well last night as I thought
of how she’s afraid of the dark,
she somehow finally got the courage
to be murdered in the park.
