Freedom Soldiers

Men of war die for cause,
Fighting for the country they love.
They charge with their rifles,
With the determination of never giving up.
Pride rides high upon their shoulders,
Protecting their family and friends.
We support their personal instinct
To become a part of our country’s defense.
Young men and older gents,
Usually troops of each.
Shipping out and fighting hard
To bring us all world peace.
Blow the horns of battle tunes,
And give the men a salute.
For they are our freedom key,
And deserve a lifelong tribute.

Ailing Child

A child is sick with a cold.
His smile has sunk beneath.
He sleeps hours at a time,
Yet really cannot sleep.
Tears form within his eyes
From cold, and feeling sad.
I want to take his aches and pains,
And fill him full of glad.
A nasty cough, a runny nose,
At times he cannot breathe.
He looks at me with agony,
As is to say, “I bleed.”
Give him a little medicine.
Hold him close and long.
Love him through his suffering,
To him help to grow strong.

Inspiration: my little one

Oh, I am so guilty of your neglect.
It takes a life-threatening situation
To see I am the one responsible
To see you to your graduation.
Why would it take so much
To make me see so little?
Not keeping up with your welfare
Is like holding you on a needle.
My child, (that is what you are)
You run to me for safety,
And I stand aside and let you pass.
Why would you still love me?
Oh, the angel God has given me,
Is the child who cries my name.
Would he ever be regretful
When I am who is to blame?

I Turned My Back

Why did I walk away from You
When You’re all I could need?
Why did I let my love for You
Sink beneath my greed?
How could I ever deserve the one
That You have given me?
I’m just a coward running from
Someone who cares for me.

PS. Jesus, Help me to never turn my back on You again!

Jesus – Die Again?

Jesus, He’s there waiting for us.
Just waiting to give us love.
Would you want to reject Him
And refuse to receive heaven above?
If you’re aware of the things He’s done,
Why would you turn Him away?
What would it take to let Him in
And offer Him to stay?
What more could you ask for
In such a caring friend?
What more could you want?
Do you want Him to die again?

Obscene Humor

Some people take a little joke
And make it way too bad.
Why can’t they enjoy the humor
The joke already had?
Obscenities are really ugly.
Why do they think they’re best?
No one really laughs at them.
They really just think less.
If you have a joke or two,
Be sure to keep it clean.
For no one cares for vulgar talk,
So much is greatly seen

Holiday Fun

Joy, joy, joy.
Everyone sings glory.
Ring, ring, ring.
Everyone should sing.
Jingle, jingle, jingle.
Everyone should mingle.
Sleigh, sleigh, sleigh.
Let’s all ride away.
Ski, ski, ski.
Let’s all set free.

Heaven or Hell

Living in heaven or going to hell.
Which will be your choice?
Which direction will be your journey?
Will you come to hear God’s voice?
Maybe someday there’ll be a time
When the world can get together
And brilliantly select a world
Of love and peace forever.
Show the children how to grow.
Teach them of our God.
For though you may choose your hell,
These children may not.

Hi, Honey. I love you. Momma loves her baby boy. That’s momma’s boy. I love you, Anthoni. I’m sorry, baby. I’m so sorry. I didn’t mean to frighten you. I’m sorry you hit your head. I hope it didn’t hurt. It scared me so, when you hit the floor as hard as you did. And when you wouldn’t breathe, my heart froze. I didn’t know what to think or do. I first shook you and told you to cry. You made a sound and then froze again.
Oh, Anthoni, I can’t even continue. It was horrible. I thought you were having another seizure. I screamed and went to lay you down as the hospital told me to do. Then your great-grandmother told me to shake you. I did that. Oh, the relief from your tears and your cry for comfort. Never before, have I been so glad to hear your cry. The last thing a mother wants, is to hear her child in pain. But that was a time, I would give anything to make you scream.

Inspiration: my son Anthoni fell while running through my grandmother’s house, bumped his head when he hit the floor, and stopped breathing. It scared me so. It was just after being out of the hospital from having mysterious seizures. I screamed at him like the hospital said, but it did not work. My grandmother told me to shake him. Praise God it worked!

In search of a killer.
He’s searching for you.
He’s killed many others
And he will kill you too.
You’re not very perceptive
In thinking you will win.
You’ll have him begging for mercy?
Well, you’ll be the one to give in.
It’s best to put your knife away
And dare not make him upset.
For those who are the innocent,
Are the ones to meet their death.

To Trust You

First, you must hold a candle
To all those who have deceived.
Secondly, you must be convincing
Enough to make me believe.
Next, you must be willing to stay
When I need you the most.
And hopefully you would realize
I need someone to hold.
Fifth, you would have to be aware
Of the cruelty in betrayal of confidence.
Sixth, you would have to believe in me,
For I am suppose to be your friend.
Seventh, you must be willing to accept me
Just the way I am.
Eighth, you must respect my privacy,
And yet also understand.
Ninth, you would have to be merciful
To forgive me at my worst.
And last of all, you would have to survive,
Knowing I wanted you to hurt.

Teach My Son

The world is so loving.
We have so many dreams.
We’re all going to make it to heaven someday.
God is a caring man.
God gave His Son for us.
We can be forgiven.
We must have faith.
We must love one another.
And we must never leave
God out of our lives.
And we must give the children
Our love and support.

Rearranging Life

Wouldn’t you just love to make the world find peace?
And have all the prisoners of youth released?
To take the criminals and help them to vanish?
We’d take all of our loved one to another planet.
And wouldn’t it be beautiful if there were only black roses?
And if we could forget the things that hold us?
Ah – and to raise the dead and never leave again.
How wonderful it would feel to hold our family and friends.
Most of all, the whole world would love our God.
And when you searched for bad news, finding it – you could not!

A con-artist you are.
You are sly as a fox.
I think I can resist you,
But you say I cannot.
Honey, you were clever.
As patient as a snake.
To break your spell,
What will it take?

No Longer Loved

Are you cold?
Feel the desire and your shall be relieved
And enrolled into the misconception.
Are you aching?
Feel the warmth and you will be released
And led to the charade.
Don’t ask for the reasoning.
You will not accomplish anything.
Just indulge yourself in my luxury of horrid.

As I read this and remember how I felt then, I am surprised that I expressed so much need for love and caring about being deceived when I thought I was being so vague.
As I read this with the changes God has brought into my life, I am surprised to realize I felt so cold about life and people. Thank you, Jesus, for coming into life! Into my heart! ❤
God is my hero!
