The promises of Your favor
Are life and preservation to my soul.
You promise they will lead me,
And keep my ways good and whole.
You promise they will protect,
That they will ground and root.
You promise they will preserve,
And steady my feet.
You promise wisdom and counsel
Will establish and prepare.
My spirit will be ready
No matter when or where.
Your peace and Your favor
Wait to guard and guide.
Rooted and grounded in You
Is where my soul longs to abide.
