A God Who Loves Me

A God who loves me,
Despite how I can be.
Who gave me wisdom
To help me see.
Who sent instruction
To rescue me.
To save me from lies
That only deceive.
A God who loves me,
Despite my lack.
He’s willing to give
So I can give back.
He knows my nature,
And still He gives.
He tasted of death
So that I could live.
A God who loves me,
And lets me love Him back.
How grateful I am
For that fact.
