The Warmth of Love

A little girl staring at a candle
Watches the flame dance.
Such a beautiful and playful light
Has her in a trance.
The heat drifts over her
And makes her forget
How cold it really is,
As she enters into her death.
Suddenly the light comes alive
And embraces her little soul.
Her Savior has welcomed her home
With a loving hold.
No more will she shiver or shake.
She knows the warmth of love.
She is with her good and perfect gift,
A home with her Father above.
