Death – ah how beautiful.
It’s so becoming.
How many souls can actually say,
“This is the art of God?”
It is extremely hard to explain or accept,
But it’s the scene we must come to view,
And someday become the leading role
In the whole play.
Why are we fighting it?
It’s coming anyway.
Why are we afraid of it?
It eases every aching soul.
If death is such a horrible thing,
Why are some of us living to die,
As some of us are dying to live?
It’s just a normal cycle
With which we can’t reset.
I know it’s hard to deal with,
But we may be better off yet.
Evaluate the view you hold
And question with every chance.
You may find you’re afraid to die,
But believe that death is the true romance.
