In many troubles in my life,
I’ve searched the world for friends.
And every time I stumbled harder,
I’d see I was alone again.
But it seems I’ve seen the truth
Of what a friend should be,
And with the things it takes to be,
Only God is a friend to me.
Only Jesus can erase the pain
And tell you what’s right for you.
It’s only God that can know your heart.
Only He can see you through.
Many times before I thought
I would die alone in the end.
But when I turned to God for help.
I saw that He is a friend.
