Juvenile

A youth.
An adolescent.
With so many lessons to learn.
Yet all along, that’s what’s wrong.
They’ve seen it all.
And if they haven’t, it couldn’t get any worse.
Yet if it could, it’s the last thing they want to see.
One who has seen enough.
One who loses the right,
Or rather,
One who never had the right,
To choose the answer… NO!
The right to say,
I’ve had enough!
I quit!
I can’t take anymore!
And if they are ever given the freedom,
They will runaway,
To a world of peace,
Into a world of different rules, values, a new world altogether.
Someone you choose to lock up,
And force them into memories… eternally.
