God grants a heart
And then permits a love.
But before it’s allowed to be,
It must be given up.
God grants a wish
And then a kiss is given.
But before it can be remembered,
It must never be lived.
God grants a man
And then woman has companionship.
But before there can be intimacy,
They can not even taste a lip.
God grants wisdom
And then love as a sweet reward.
But before it can be a paradise,
It has to be utterly destroyed.
