Being alone is not good
Even in God’s eyes.
He knows the soul needs company
To help the days go by.
There are moments we are to seek
And spend alone with God.
Some daily and some whenever
He calls us to come apart.
But even then there will be a time
When we are to fellowship again,
Whether it be with others
Or going home to Him in our end.

In this day and age, monasticism and asceticism are discouraged. Look at how things are; Monks and nuns open their facilities as wineries or B&B. I dwell alone, but I can’t stay away from other people for an entire day.

I did not know that about the wineries and B&Bs! I would use a shock face emoticon if I knew how to make one. 😉
It is kind of difficult to “love one another” without actually being social, and I say that as a people loving introvert! 🙂
