So much uncertainty
looms in the air
on what lies ahead,
or what we must bear.
Just around the corner
lies tomorrow,
carrying so many troubles
and too much sorrow.
How are we to know
what each day holds?
We are not You
to know what unfolds.
What we do know
is that You will be there,
eager to take on any burden
that we may bear.
Hold our hearts, Lord,
as You lead us along.
For life will soon be here…
then gone.
