You’re leading. I’m following,
or at least I’m trying.
You’re speaking. I’m listening,
or at least sighing.
Your pathways can be many,
yet one at a time.
Your lamp is shining.
Help me follow the light.
You’re teaching. I’m learning,
or trying to be discerning.
You’re guiding. I’m trailing
while trying to avoid failing.
Stay close by with guard rails.
Your perfect love never fails.
Hand in hand with You,
I know we’ll make it through.
